I will use this post to highlight 3rd grade students involvement in the last Unit regarding clothes, in which we had the opportunity to attend a Fashion Show in the classroom.
The students designed their models for this occasion, and following the rhythm of a real fashion show, they presented their designs on the catwalk.
It was cool!

3-D City Project

The topic of this project is the city and the name is "My 3-D City". With this project students learned to give and ask for directions and the result was impresive. Look!

SUPPORTIVE MARKET

Hi everyone!
I know it´s been a while since I uploaded something, however here we are with lots of things to show.
In this occasion I'm going to write about the supportive market organized the 25th of March, in order to support the drilling of more water wells in Nigeria.
It was an interesting experience.
The students had the opportunity to work as sellers for one day. Juanlu beat the record by selling 20 € of water bottles.

The Andalusia day

Hello everyone!
As I told you before, from now on this blog will be completely in English. I think it is a good opportunity for you to make an effort to learn English.
Today I'm going to talk about the Andalusia Day, which we celebrated during the last week. The celebration was wonderful, and we could see the result of 2 weeks of hard work on different projects.
My classroom designed a map of Andalusia that shows the most typical products of our community distributed by provinces.

Healthy Eating (Alimentación Saludable)

Desde el programa de Alimentación Saludable hemos realizado ya varias actividades. La primera de ellas era crear una Pirámide de la Alimentación, que los alumnos han realizado con mucho arte y que aquí os muestro en un ejemplo.

La siguiente actividad ha sido muy interesante para  todos ya que se han puesto en la piel de un periodista para hacer una entrevista a un familiar, preferiblemente abuelos, para obtener información sobre la dieta que tenían en su juventud.

Después de este trabajo tuvimos un interesante debate sobre alimentación saludable, en la que hicimos una comparación entre la dieta de nuestros abuelos y la actual.

Saint Valentine's Day

En el CEIP Carlos V, con motivo del día de San Valentín, hemos celebrado El Día de la Amistad, para lo que los alumnos de todos los cursos han realizado una Cadena de la Amistad, en la que cada eslabón contenía el nombre de un alumno y una frase amistosa sobre él o ella. Los alumnos se esmeraron en completar eslabones y quedo muy colorido, a la vez que les permitió demostrar lo mucho que se aprecian entre ellos.
Esta fue la cadena realizada por mis alumnos de 5ºB.

Peace Day (Día de la Paz)

El día 30 de Enero disfrutamos en el CEIP Carlos V, de un montón de actividades para el Día de la Paz
Uno de los trabajos de los alumnos de mi tutoría de 5ºB junto con los de 5ºA fue una paloma de la paz decorada con plumas recortadas de papel higiénico. Suena raro, pero el resultado fue precioso.

Después de un tiempo organizando las ideas, creo que es un buen momento para iniciar este nuevo blog que espero que resulte muy útil para mis alumnos y para todos aquellos que deseen acercarse en busca de recursos e ideas sobre educación en general y especialmente sobre la enseñanza de la lengua inglesa.
Así que a partir de ahora este será nuestro punto de encuentro.
